Review of ‘Title Case Converter – A Smart Title Capitalization Tool’

Written by Dyami Millarson

Ever been confused about the capitalisation rules of English titles? There are tools available online to help you with that. The website of the tool I am going to review today is titled Title Case Converter – A Smart Title Capitalization Tool (click on the hyperlink to see that tool).

The tool offered at Title Case Converter is a very simple one. All you basically need to do is enter the text that you want to be turned into a capitalised title and select which style of English title capitalisation you wish to make use of.

The title capitalisation styles available on that site are Wikipedia, New York Times (NYT), APA (American Psychological Association), AP (Associated Press), MLA (Modern Language Association), Chicago, AMA (American Medical Association) and Bluebook.

When one has selected the style one wishes to use, one may peoceed to select a few options. I think the most interesting option to select for English language learners is ‘Show Explanation’, because it allows one to learn the reason why certain words are capitalised while others are not.

When one scrolls down, one will find that the website also includes simple information about everything pertaining to the website. This tells you basically everything you need to know. The website and the tool it offers are very user-friendly.
